Abstract

Complexes of Cu(II) and Ni(II) with macro cyclic ligand i.e. 1,5-diamino pentane-bis-(1,2-difuryl-ethane-1,2-dione-2-oxime) here prepared. The complexes of the type [M(H2L)X2] Where M=Cu (II) & Ni (II). X=Cl-,Br-,I-,NO3-,ClO4-. were prepared by the condensation of 1,2-di furyl ethane-1,2-dione with 1,5-diamino pentane with metal(II) salts. Their complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis. IR UV spectra and magnetic susceptibility. On the basis of above facts an octahedral geometry has been assigned for the complex. In the vitro synthesized compounds were screened against plantpathogenis fungi.
