Abstract

The exchange rate is considered to be an important macro variable with significant implications on the overall economy of the country. Owing to its potential to upregulate or down-regulate the economic growth, exchange rate has been widely researched by the policymakers and the academicians. However, exchange rate is highly volatile and given the dynamicity associated with exchange rate volatility the current study intends to explore the short term and long term impact of exchange rate variation on exporting.
